Hello, and welcome to Into All The WWWorld, a place for Christian Educators to share materials for Christian education and formation.
We’re made possible by a grant from the Evangelical Education Society of the Episcopal Church, so we’re here to share the gospel, not make a profit. Everything you’ll find on this site is available for free. In fact, most of it is also licensed under a Creative Commons license, which means it can be “copied, distributed, edited, remixed, and built upon” (think redaction theory, all you biblical scholars)–all without having to get permission of the author. (Please do, of course, credit the author when you (re)use his or her material!) We realize most of you Christian educators work in limited time and with limited budgets, so we hope sites like this one can enrich and enable your ministry.
What can you find here? Well, not much, currently, since we’re just getting started. But, on the whole, there will be two different types of content. The first we’ll just call Resources, similar to what you’d find on other terrific sites like Building Faith, Ministry Matters, and feautor.org. Think music and videos, PDFs, PowerPoint slides, handouts, links, etc. Our goal is to deliver or link you to the resources you need to lead a bible study, teach a confirmation class, design a camp curriculum, etc. If there’s a pattern to the kinds of resources available here, it’s that many of them were developed by seminarians. Our plan is to expand our network of contributors and users by connecting at the schools training the next generation of church leaders.
Our second type of content is Courses, which are what make Into All The WWWorld unique. We realize that developments in online education provide Christian educators with exciting new opportunities to offer high-quality, low-cost instruction to anyone seeking it–parishioners in our churches, students in our schools, and disciples (and would-be disciples) of all stripes in that exciting new frontier of evangelism and faith formation: the Internet. The chief service, then, of Into All The WWWorld is the hosting and maintenance of a Moodle platform. Ever taken an online course at a college or university? Chances are, you took it on a course management system like Moodle. We believe Christian educators in a variety of settings would benefit from adding the creation of simple Moodle courses to their ministry toolbox. Please check out our Courses page to see the list of courses we currently offer, and contact Kyle if you’re interested in created your own Moodle course and hosting it here–for free!

Thank you,
